Wisdom Teeth Removal

At some point in life, most everyone requires that his or her wisdom teeth be extracted as a measure of preventive dentistry. If you’ve been putting off the removal of your wisdom teeth, The Dental Shoppe team can help. With today’s dental technology, this procedure has been improved to maximize your comfort and speed along your recovery time.  

Before extracting your wisdom teeth, additional sedation maybe given the night before and an hour before the procedure. Then your Dental Shoppe dentist will administer anesthetic, open up the gum tissue over the tooth, remove any bone covering the tooth, separate any connective tissue, and remove the tooth itself. In most cases, your recovery will only last a few days.  Your Dental Shoppe team will provide with you with detailed information on your recovery, and you will be prescribed medication to manage any pain.

Root Canals

If damage to the nerve tissue inside of a tooth requires a root canal procedure, your dentist will gently remove the infected tissue and will fill the void with an inert material. The routine procedure is completed with the placement of a crown. Thanks to advances in technology and dental techniques, modern root canal procedures are more effective while taking less time.

Tooth Extractions

In some cases, injury or decay damages a tooth extensively and your dentist will determine that extraction is the proper treatment option to start you on the path back toward a healthy smile. Fillings
