Doug Langefeld, D.D.S.

Dr. Langefeld is a dedicated general and cosmetic dentist based out of Lake In The Hills, Illinois. Dr. Langefeld earned his Doctorate in Dental Sciences from the University of Illinois. After graduating, he served two years in the United States Navy Dental Corps and has provided private practice care to his community since opening the practice over 45 years ago.

For Dr. Langefeld, dentistry isn’t merely a job, but a life-long, fulfilling passion. He is highly admired around the office, and he believes in providing the best dental care with skill, compassion, and humility.

He is married to his lovely wife Mercedes, and they have combined 10 children and 16 grandchildren. He is a sports enthusiast and loves playing games and traveling to see family.

Marc Czapla, D.D.S.

Dr. Czapla earned his Doctorate in Dental Sciences from Loyola University. He completed his General Dental Residency at Cook County Hospital before going into private practice. In addition to serving the Lake In The Hills community, he is the Associate Attending staff member at Sherman Hospital where he has practiced for over 20 years.

Dr. Czapla is committed to learning and regularly attends continuing education in all phases of dentistry.

Dr. Czapla particularly enjoys oral surgery and has extensive experience placing implants. He aims to provide excellent dentistry in a relaxed environment.

Dr. Czapla is married to his lovely wife Diane, and they have 2 children. Away from the practice he enjoys ice hockey, golf, and skiing. He also loves outdoor adventures.

Mark Matthaei, D.M.D.

Dr. Matthaei earned his doctorate in Dental Studies from Southern Illinois University. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Illinois State Dental Society.

Dr. Matthaei has over 20 years’ experience in dentistry and joined our practice in August 2001. He prides himself on good communication, making people feel at ease and providing the best treatment possible.

Dr. Matthaei is married to his lovely wife Jennifer, and they have 4 children and 2 dogs. Away from the office, he enjoys playing golf, fishing, camping and snow skiing.
